My name is Joseph Stromberg, owner and licensed Inspector of Joe The Handy Home Inspector located within the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina. I decided to embark on my home inspector journey after marrying my wonderful wife, Erika. When purchasing our first home together in Greenville our inspector missed a significant problem. It was then I decided to do what I could to prevent this from happening to another family. Also, Erika and I were tired of me being on the road all the time inspecting large facilities. 

I provide every client with a professional and knowledgeable home inspection that provides a quality of service that truly benefits the home buying process. Whether you are a first-time home buyer, building new construction or selling your current property.

I grew up in the construction business here in Greenville S.C. which has provided me with understanding of how a home is built and should last. I spent 6 years in the United States Marine Corps and I gained the attention to detail that is needed to find potential problems. When I left the Marines, I moved back to Greenville and graduated with a degree in Applied Science with a major in Fire Service. After Graduation I went to work as an Inspector for Alfred H. Knight. A.H.K. is a market-leading independent provider of inspection and testing services. I spent 6 years traveling and doing inspections all over Canada the United States and Mexico. I have taken this knowledge and experience and started my own company and hope that this will help the people in my community.
